TERABYTES ROBOTICS

The Terabytes are a group of 9 in the Pittsburgh area with a passion for STEM. We’re one of the oldest teams in our area still competing, although we didn’t start with FTC. In 2004, FLL Team , Terabytes began with only a few students and mentors. Six years later, team 4149 was started. Since then, we’ve been creating robots as a neighborhood team, meaning we’re not directly affiliated with a school or 4H. This season, we bring the skills of 9 students and 5 mentors, along with support from local businesses and our families.

FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is an organization inspiring young people to be the science and technology leaders of tomorrow by engaging in STEM-based competiton and focusing on good sportsmanship and Gracious Professionalism™.

We share FIRST's mission to inspire young minds and we strive to give back to the community by sharing our enthusiasm for science, technology, engineering and mathematics, especially with our new FLL team, the TeraBricks.
